How to do well on the day.

Feelings first, then facts

Acknowledge how the customer feels in your first reply, in your own words. Then show you've looked at their account, so they know you're on it.

Use what's on the screen

Every scenario has the answer in the account and the policy. Interviewers watch whether you check before you promise.

End with what happens next

Say exactly what you've done, when they'll see it and what to do if it doesn't happen. That's what turns an upset customer into a happy one.

Good to know.

What is a customer service role-play?

A short practice conversation where an interviewer plays a customer with a problem, often an upset one, and you handle it as you would on the job. Many call centres include one in the operations interview.

How does the AI customer work?

An AI plays the customer from a private brief: who they are, what they really want and what calms them down. It reacts to what you actually say, then a separate AI coach scores the conversation and gives you notes.

How does the voice call work?

The customer's lines are read out by your browser, and you reply by talking: your browser turns your speech into text, which you can check before sending. Your voice isn't recorded or sent to us. It needs Chrome, Edge or Safari with a microphone.

How is it scored?

Out of 100: resolution counts 35%, empathy 25%, following policy 20% and clarity 20%. You also get three coaching notes and one of your lines rewritten the way a strong agent would say it.

Is it free?

Yes. Three practice calls a day without an account, and eight a day with a free account.
