Good to know.

What English level do call center jobs need?

Most English-language customer service jobs ask for B2 (upper intermediate). Some email and back-office roles accept B1, and team lead, quality and escalation roles often want C1.

What is CEFR?

The Common European Framework of Reference: six levels from A1 (beginner) to C2 (proficient). Employers and tests worldwide use it to describe language ability.

Is this like the Versant or EF SET test?

It measures similar skills and gives a CEFR-aligned level, but it's our own test, built around customer service. It isn't an official Versant, EF SET, IELTS or TOEFL result, so if a job asks for one of those by name, take that one.

How is the written reply graded?

An AI examiner grades it against the task you were given, on whether you covered every point, your grammar, your vocabulary and your tone with the customer. You get three tips on what to improve.

How does the speaking part work?

You read three short sentences aloud and your browser's speech recognition writes down what it heard. We compare that with the sentence. Your voice isn't recorded or sent to us. It works in Chrome, Edge and Safari.

Is the certificate free?

Yes. The test is free without an account. Create a free account to keep your best result of the last 12 months as a certificate with its own page at remote-job.us/verify.

Can I take it again?

Yes, up to three times a day without an account and five with one. The questions change each time, and a better result updates the same certificate.
