TTEC assessment test: how it works and how to practise

How TTEC hires for customer service: each step, the tests it uses, how to prepare, and a free AI mock customer to practise on.

TTEC publishes its remote hiring process: apply, complete a skills assessment, book your own virtual interview and receive an offer. Assessments usually cover typing, grammar and customer service scenarios, and they're timed.

TTEC's hiring process, step by step

  1. 1.Apply. Apply online for a remote role in a location TTEC hires from.
  2. 2.Skills assessment. TTEC emails a link to its assessment. Guides and applicants report typing, grammar and customer-scenario questions, all timed.
  3. 3.Virtual interview. Once you pass, you book your own interview slot. TTEC says spots fill fast, so check your email daily.
  4. 4.Offer and background check. An offer follows, along with a background check that can take a week or two.

From TTEC's own careers site, with details from applicants. Steps vary by country and account, so check the job post. Remote isn't affiliated with TTEC.

Before your TTEC test

  • Take a typing test beforehand so you know your speed; many remote roles expect 35 WPM or more.
  • Book your interview the moment the invite arrives.
  • Prepare a story about calming an angry customer: interviews are mostly behavioural.

Good to know.

How do I prepare for the TTEC assessment?

Learn each step above, then practise the interview role-play with the free AI mock customer on this page: it plays an upset customer and scores how you handle them. For the typing and English steps, use the free typing test and English level test.

Can I get the real TTEC test answers?

No, and be careful with anyone selling "TTEC test answers": the real tests change and those files aren't genuine. Knowing each step and practising the role-play is what actually helps.

Does TTEC's process change by country?

Yes. Steps and tests differ by country, site and the account you'd work on, so always check the job post and what your recruiter tells you.
