Concentrix starts most customer service applications with an online digital self-assessment, which applicants often call the SHL test. It mixes work-style questions, English and reasoning, and is scored automatically before a recruiter sees your application.
Concentrix's hiring process, step by step
- 1.Online application. Apply on the Concentrix careers site for a specific role and location.
- 2.Digital self-assessment. Applicants report work-style questions, English reading and grammar, and reasoning items, scored automatically. Many say it is strict, so take it somewhere quiet with time to spare.
- 3.Skills or language test. Voice roles often add a spoken English test such as Versant; chat and email roles may add typing or a written reply.
- 4.Recruiter and operations interviews. Expect questions on handling an angry customer by chat, email or phone, and on your availability for shifts.
- 5.Checks and offer. Document and background checks, then the offer. Concentrix says it never asks applicants for payment.
From recent applicant reports; Concentrix doesn't publish one process for every country. Steps vary by country and account, so check the job post. Remote isn't affiliated with Concentrix.
Before your Concentrix test
- Answer the work-style questions honestly and consistently; agreeing strongly with everything looks unrealistic.
- Read each reasoning passage closely: 'Cannot say' is the right answer more often than people expect.
- Practise writing short, warm replies to angry customers, because the interview often asks for one.
