Palayan: Hiring Consultant ‑ Customer Service

A high-volume inbound call center role answering customer questions about products and services, processing payments and handling account maintenance. It is an entry-level position based in Palayan City, Philippines, with prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

• Answer inbound calls from consumers
• Respond to inquiries about products and services
• Process payments
• Perform general account maintenance
• Up-sell customers to new products or services

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to perform at a high level with high inbound call volume
• Excellent verbal and written communication and proficient reading skills
• Multi-tasking skills across several applications
• Basic PC keyboarding skills
• Basic Microsoft Office experience required
• Prior customer service experience preferred

Sutherland works with global brands on AI, automation, cloud and customer experience operations. In Egypt it runs large contact centers in Cairo and Alexandria that hire English and multilingual customer service representatives, usually with transport, medical insurance and paid training. These roles are on-site.
