What you'll do
- Act as first point of contact for customer IT and business application questions
- Resolve support cases and progress issues through to conclusion
- Liaise with colleagues and R&D on complex issues
- Investigate and document application defects
- Handle customer escalations and keep customers updated
- Identify service improvements or chargeable activities
- Train and mentor less experienced team members
- Comply with security requirements, policies and ISO standards
What you'll need
- Fluent in English
- Customer support environment experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and IT infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems
- Knowledge of SQL Server performance tools
- Ability to write and understand SQL queries
- Knowledge of SQL tracing, indexing and optimisation
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking concepts
