About the role
Lead data scientist role in Spotfire's Customer Success team, advising energy-industry customers and driving adoption of visual analytics. Requires 6-8+ years of data science and energy analytics experience and is limited to US-based candidates, excluding California and New York.
What you'll do
- Translate customer business objectives into success plans
- Act as trusted advisor to customer stakeholders
- Guide applied machine learning and AI projects
- Collaborate with sales, support, product, and engineering
- Drive customer adoption and community engagement
- Represent Spotfire at industry events
- Coach and train other employees
What you'll need
- 6-8+ years data science experience
- 6-8+ years advanced analytics experience
- 6-8+ years energy sector analytics experience
- Experience with Spotfire, Tableau, Qlikview, SPSS, KNIME, Dataiku, Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Python, or R
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- STEM bachelor's degree or higher
- Proficiency in English
- US-based, not California or New York
