About the role
Senior Technical Account Manager for EDB's largest Postgres and AI customers, acting as a post-sales trusted technical advisor and primary technical contact. Requires deep relational database, cloud, and Kubernetes expertise plus up to 25% travel; the remote role is limited to the United States.
What you'll do
- Serve as trusted advisor to customer senior technical leadership
- Help customers maximize Postgres investment
- Assist customers with Postgres strategies
- Provide technical leadership on major Postgres initiatives
- Provide product feedback to product management
- Document best practices
- Act as front-line technical resource for customer questions
- Travel up to 25%
What you'll need
- 6+ years hands-on experience with Postgres, Oracle, DB2, or MS SQL Server
- Advanced technical skills in data platforms, operating systems, cloud, and architecture
- Knowledge of data analytics and AI/ML concepts
- Kubernetes experience
- Strong analytical skills for technical and project issues
- Understanding of strategic sales process
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication with CxO-level personnel
