About the role
A Tier 2 technical support role at Amazon Leo (satellite broadband), handling escalated customer issues over phone, email and chat in German and English. It is based in Cork, Ireland, with rotating shifts that include nights, weekends and holidays.
What you'll do
- Resolve Tier 1 escalations via phone, email and chat
- Provide detailed technical support on connectivity and equipment issues
- Collaborate with other support teams on complex cases
- Document steps and resolutions clearly
- Spot trends in customer issues and propose process improvements
- Write knowledge base articles and team documentation
- Stay current on new Amazon Leo products and features
What you'll need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- German and English at C1+ level
- Experience resolving end-customer technical issues (internet service, network connectivity, or equipment)
- Understanding of internet technologies, verified by a technical assessment
- Ability to document technical issues and solutions
- Availability for flexible shifts including weekends, nights and holidays
- Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office
- Export control screening and licensing may apply
