About the role
Onboarding specialist for Xero small-business subscribers, combining sales conversion with first-90-day customer onboarding through demos, calls, and webinars. The role is hybrid and based in Cape Town, with three days per week in the office.
What you'll do
- Own customer experience from first contact through early journey
- Engage new subscribers during first 90 days
- Run live product overviews, discovery calls, and webinars
- Guide setup milestones such as bank feeds, invoicing, bills, and reconciliations
- Track customer interactions and pipelines in CRM
- Identify connected ecosystem app opportunities and handoffs
What you'll need
- Experience in customer onboarding, sales conversion, or account management
- Target-driven environment experience
- Ability to simplify complex concepts
- Curiosity about small business workflows and basic accounting
- Familiarity with CRM software
- Ability to manage varied workload independently
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
