About the role
Part-time contract role moderating Udacity's online scholarship community forums, handling guideline violations and supporting learner engagement. It is fully remote but limited to candidates who currently reside in the UAE, with daily moderation required including weekends.
What you'll do
- Moderate the forum daily, including weekends, at least twice a day
- Provide students with non-technical support in the community
- Handle violation posts and enforce community guidelines
- Support forum activities and brainstorm engagement ideas with the Community Manager
- Attend regular online meetings with Udacity representatives
- Provide performance summaries when requested
What you'll need
- Residing in UAE
- Strong internet connection
- Availability across days, evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of online community platforms and moderation tools
- Good knowledge of customer service principles
- Udacity course or Nanodegree graduate (a plus)
