About the role
Platform Engineer role at Concentrix providing customer-facing technical support for VMware products such as vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi. It hires L1, L2, and Senior levels with 0–10 years of support experience and is based on-site in New Cairo, Egypt.
What you'll do
- Respond to customer support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Provide remote troubleshooting for VMware products
- Collect and analyze logs to identify root causes
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues
- Maintain documentation and link technical learnings to existing solutions
- Cooperate with other teams and backline support
- Mentor, coach, and assist support team members for PE2
- Conduct technical knowledge-sharing sessions for Senior PE
What you'll need
- Fluent written and verbal English
- 0–2 years customer support experience for PE1
- 2–5 years technical support experience for PE2
- 6–10 years technical support experience for Senior PE
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts
- VMware virtualization and troubleshooting knowledge
- VCP, VCIX, or VCAP certification preferred
