About the role
A senior technical support role focused on helping Autodesk Moldflow customers troubleshoot injection-molding simulation and manufacturing issues. It requires deep plastics and molding simulation expertise and combines customer support with documentation, AI-assisted troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Provide expert technical support for Autodesk Moldflow customers
- Diagnose geometry, meshing, materials, process, solver, and simulation result issues
- Distinguish software issues from modeling assumptions and manufacturing challenges
- Research, reproduce, and document product issues
- Collaborate with Product Development and Engineering teams
- Create technical articles and troubleshooting guidance
- Use AI-assisted tools to improve troubleshooting and knowledge creation
- Develop expertise in connected Autodesk workflows
What you'll need
- 3-5+ years of plastic injection-molding simulation experience
- Bachelor's degree in Plastics, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- Strong understanding of injection molding, polymer behavior, and processing conditions
- Experience preparing, running, and interpreting engineering simulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated customer focus and ownership of technical problems
