Technical Account Manager

Technical Account Manager supporting Benchling's enterprise life science customers after go-live, managing Success Packages, escalations, and configuration projects. Requires hands-on Benchling experience and a life science degree; the role is based in Boston with three days per week on-site, so it is not open to remote workers in Egypt.

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, scientists, IT managers, and executives
• Act as main point of contact for Success Package delivery post-go-live
• Manage multiple accounts simultaneously with minimal oversight
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate customer risks and issues
• Lead projects including customer tenant configuration and maintenance
• Develop project plans with scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Execute Optimization Services Accelerators
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Professional Services, and Support

• 2+ years active Benchling experience
• BS or M.Sc. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Bioengineering, or similar life science field
• Experience in a lab or research setting
• Skilled with business systems and project management tools such as LucidChart, Smartsheets, Jira, and Certinia
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Autonomous and proactive self-starter
• Customer advocate who can solve problems and support onboarding
• Based in Boston with on-site work 3 days per week
