About the role
TaskUs is hiring an office-based IT Support Specialist in San Antonio to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and set up equipment for new hires. The role requires proven technical support experience, Windows/macOS knowledge, and familiarity with IT tools such as ServiceNow and ITIL; it is not a remote position.
What you'll do
- Provide technical support to business and team members
- Set up laptops/desktops and software for new hires
- Ship equipment on time
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Serve as first point of contact for IT problems
- Maintain system security
- Conduct system upgrades
- Assist with technology projects
What you'll need
- Proven technical support/troubleshooting experience
- Windows and macOS knowledge
- LAN/WAN/VPN networking understanding
- Software/hardware diagnostics
- Strong communication and customer service
- Familiarity with Workspace One, Cortex XDR, MDT, ServiceNow, ITIL
- Basic system security and data protection
- Bachelor's in computer science/IT or equivalent
