Service Representative, Brokerage Placement – Commercial Lines

A remote service representative role at an insurance wholesale brokerage, handling policy status requests, certificates of insurance, and underwriting support for agents and partners by phone and electronically. • Handle policy status requests, certificates of insurance, and renewal follow-ups by phone and electronically
• Assist underwriters with agency support activities and complete transactions first time-final
• Accept, modify, or decline lower-complexity business per policies and standards
• Research information from multiple sources to support underwriting analysis
• Review risks against carrier guidelines, state regulations, and surplus lines requirements
• Consult with agents and internal/external partners on customer service activities
• Meet agreed timelines and service level agreements

• P&C License and Surplus Lines License (or L&H License) required within 45 days
• Undergraduate studies in business administration or related field
• One year of related insurance experience preferred; degree considered in lieu
• Effective communication with agencies and internal/external partners
• Ability to prioritize and manage day-to-day work
