About the role
A talent pool for bilingual English–Spanish medical virtual assistants based in Latin America, supporting U.S. healthcare clients with patient calls, scheduling, intake, insurance verification and billing administration. It is a contract role starting at $6 USD/hour and requires availability during U.S. business hours.
What you'll do
- Handle patient calls and appointment scheduling
- Support patient intake, care coordination and follow-ups
- Complete insurance verification and prior authorizations
- Assist with medical billing and claims follow-up
- Maintain medical documentation and EHR/EMR records
- Conduct patient outreach and healthcare appointment setting
What you'll need
- Based in Latin America
- Fluent Spanish with B2–C1 English
- Previous healthcare practice experience
- Handle patient information confidentially
- Reliable internet, computer, headset and quiet workspace
- Availability for U.S. business hours
- Comfortable using a time tracker
