About the role
A remote customer operations role for a New York-based business, focused on entering and checking sales orders, pricing, and costs, with customer emails and calls added over time. It is open only to people living in Mexico and requires advanced English and strong numerical accuracy.
What you'll do
- Enter and review sales orders accurately
- Validate customer pricing against price sheets and costs
- Identify pricing, cost, margin, and order discrepancies
- Perform basic business calculations
- Investigate incorrect or inconsistent information
- Escalate discrepancies and communicate with team members
- Support customer inquiries by email
- Handle occasional inbound and outbound customer calls
What you'll need
- Previous customer service, customer-facing, or operational support experience
- Advanced English proficiency
- Strong numerical skills
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to investigate unusual or incorrect figures
