About the role
A German e-commerce photovoltaic company is hiring a full-time remote customer service and back-office employee to handle email support, orders, returns, and marketplace inquiries. The role is 100% remote but limited to candidates living anywhere in Germany, with a gross salary of €3,000 per month.
What you'll do
- Answer customer inquiries by email
- Advise on products, delivery times, availability, and order status
- Forward and track orders with fulfillment providers
- Check orders and open cases
- Process returns, complaints, and warranty cases
- Create quotes and handle shop inquiries
- Support marketplace customer inquiries such as Amazon and eBay
- Cover the phone hotline when colleagues are absent
What you'll need
- Structured and reliable working style
- Clear, friendly, and understandable writing
- Keep overview with many parallel cases
- Work independently
- Willingness to use the phone when needed
- Motivation to learn technical topics
- E-commerce, order processing, customer service, or marketplace experience is advantageous but not required
- Interest in photovoltaics or electrical engineering is helpful but not required
