About the role
A field-based technical support role for Brainlab radiotherapy and radiosurgery systems, based from a home office in Rome, Naples or nearby and involving about 80% travel. The specialist installs and maintains systems, diagnoses IT and networking issues, and supports clinical customers, requiring English and Italian.
What you'll do
- Install radiotherapy and radiosurgery systems in the region and across parts of Europe
- Provide after-sales service including diagnosis, maintenance and repairs
- Act as the technical Brainlab contact for customers
- Conduct routine calibrations and preventive maintenance
- Familiarize customers such as physicist teams with Brainlab products
- Ensure full service satisfaction for clients
- Travel around 80% of the time
What you'll need
- Degree or certification in Medical Physics, Medical Dosimetry, radiation therapy technology or equivalent
- Strong informatics knowledge and experience diagnosing IT infrastructure and networking issues
- Knowledge of linear accelerators is an advantage
- Prior service or maintenance experience in robotics and/or electro-mechanics
- Proficiency in English and Italian, written and spoken
- Excellent social, teamwork and self-management skills
- Willingness to travel around 80% of the time
