Contract and Billing Specialist

A contract role on Samsara’s Customer Success team owning complex billing and contract cases for Mid-Market and Commercial accounts from first report to confirmed fix. The specialist investigates billing errors across contracts, CRM, and billing systems, prepares concession and cancellation cases, and coordinates Billing Support, Sales Ops, Finance, and Legal.

• Own complex billing and contract cases for Mid-Market and Commercial accounts
• Reconstruct billing errors across contracts, order forms, ownership changes, reprocessing, and invoicing
• Evaluate and prepare concession requests with case summaries and recommendations
• Support cancellation, return, and ETF exceptions through validation and approval
• Log and route billing, concession, and cancellation requests in a single case record
• Tag root causes and deliver monthly read-outs on repeat billing issues
• Drive Billing Support, Order-to-Cash, Sales Ops, Deal Desk, Finance, and Legal to execute fixes
• Coach CSMs and AEs on complete billing and concession requests

• 4+ years in billing operations, order-to-cash, revenue operations, deal desk, contracts, or similar finance/operations role
• Strong investigative skills across CRM, billing, and contract systems
• Sound financial judgment about credits, concessions, reprocessing, and refunds
• Customer-facing communication that stays honest and composed
• Strong priority management
• High emotional intelligence
