About the role
Technical support role for Hummingbot's open-source crypto trading community, handling Discord, email, Zendesk and Reddit inquiries and escalations. It is a fully remote contractor position requiring 3+ years of technical support, incident management and Linux/cloud experience.
What you'll do
- Manage user inquiries on Discord, email, Zendesk and Reddit
- Serve as escalation point for high-touch issues and platform incidents
- Maintain Zendesk ticketed query system and resolutions database
- Investigate root causes of application errors
- Escalate serious concerns to development and architecture teams
- Improve team tools and support processes
What you'll need
- Minimum 3 years in incident management, technical support or system administration
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux commands and functions
- Experience supporting automated cloud environments
- End-to-end platform incident management with Zendesk or similar
- Exceptional cross-department communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced organization
- At least 4 highly desirable technical experiences
