About the role
A commercial-lines insurance customer service role handling policy setup, binding, endorsements and account servicing for a specialty insurance wholesaler. The position is based in the Orlando, FL office and requires a 2-20 insurance license (obtainable within 90 days), so it is not open to applicants living abroad.
What you'll do
- Set up new and renewal client records
- Review applications
- Bind new and renewal policies
- Issue policies as necessary
- Follow up for missing file documentation (loss runs, applications)
- Issue, invoice and process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements and non-renewals
- Order loss control reports and follow up on recommendations
- Comply with quality control guidelines
What you'll need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-20 license within 90 days of employment
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Experience in a paperless environment with strong PC skills
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Detail oriented with ability to multi-task
- Commitment to excellent customer service
