About the role
Technical Solutions Consultant at MCSL/Banyan, fixing Oracle SQL/PL/SQL issues for higher-education clients and delivering custom development. Fully remote but restricted to Canada, with Pacific Time hours and a CAD 70,000–85,000 salary.
What you'll do
- Diagnose and fix technical issues for higher-education clients
- Write and change Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code
- Carry fixes into MCSL's development environment
- Deliver custom client development
- Explain technical problems and fixes to stakeholders
- Work with the Technical Solutions lead
- Take ownership of growing client work
- Learn ASP.NET, Visual Studio, and JavaScript
What you'll need
- 3–5 years hands-on Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development
- Writing and changing code, not only support or triage
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to work directly with clients
- Available 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Pacific Time
- Ellucian Banner experience preferred
- ASP.NET, Visual Studio, or JavaScript nice to have
- Higher education experience nice to have
