About the role
This is a full-time Personal Lines Customer Service Representative role in Greensboro, NC, handling policy questions, coverage changes, billing, payments, and cross-sell referrals for insurance customers. It requires a Property & Casualty Producer Insurance License and at least 2 years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
What you'll do
- Respond to customer inquiries about policies, coverage changes, certificates, auto ID cards, billing, and payments
- Seek referrals from current customers and capitalize on cross-sell opportunities
- Provide an exceptional customer experience
- Document renewal, sales, and compliance documents in agency management systems
- Attend internal and client meetings as needed
- Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Promote teamwork, knowledge sharing, and a positive attitude
- Participate in training and continuing education
What you'll need
- Property & Casualty Producer Insurance License in good standing
- 2+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of personal lines insurance including home, auto, umbrella, watercraft, and collections
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows environment including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher
- Experience handling personal account renewals, service needs, and customer escalations
- Experience handling policy endorsement requests, mortgage changes, and Auto IDs
- Experience handling payments or billing questions
