About the role
ModSquad is hiring bilingual German/English customer support advisors for a music streaming platform. The part-time remote role involves written support via messaging, handling 5-6 simultaneous chats about account, billing, and technical issues.
What you'll do
- Handle 5-6 customer conversations at once
- Resolve account, billing, payment, and subscription issues
- Resolve technical and platform-related issues
- Research and follow workflows and knowledge base resources
- Navigate multiple systems while staying organized
- Review previous and automated support interactions
- Follow security and verification procedures
- Document resolutions and escalate when needed
What you'll need
- Previous high-volume written customer support experience
- Proven experience managing 5+ simultaneous chats
- Fluent written German and English
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Comfortable learning and following detailed workflows
- Experience with knowledge bases or case management systems
- Windows 11 or macOS Sequoia/Tahoe, min 8GB RAM, 40 Mbps internet
- Webcam/smartphone, ModSquad security software, mobile 2FA, dual monitors recommended
