About the role
Billing Representative on Clipboard Health's collections team, contacting healthcare workplaces by phone and email to collect overdue payments and resolve billing issues. Fully remote and open to all experience levels, with no degree required.
What you'll do
- Monitor accounts for outstanding debts
- Call and email accounts payable contacts about overdue payments
- Build relationships and explain billing terms
- Identify root cause of non-payment and resolve billing concerns
- Report collections and accounts receivable updates
- Identify critical accounts and create action plans
- Collaborate with Billing Disputes, Sales, and Customer Support
What you'll need
- Professional and clear verbal/written communication
- High attention to detail
- Highly coachable
- Comfortable with math and data
- Ability to build customer relationships
- Strong judgment in customer-facing decisions
- Negotiating skills
