About the role
Socket is hiring a Technical Account Manager to own post-sale success for large enterprise customers, including technical onboarding, troubleshooting, and product adoption. The role is remote-first but limited to candidates in Canada or the USA and combines customer-success work with hands-on technical support for developer and security tooling.
What you'll do
- Own post-sale relationships with enterprise accounts as main technical advisor
- Lead technical onboarding and integration across CI/CD systems and developer tooling
- Troubleshoot integration, configuration, and compatibility issues
- Respond to customer issues in dedicated Slack channels
- Run Quarterly Business Reviews and build customer success plans
- Translate product capabilities into developer-friendly guidance
- Conduct architecture reviews and security posture assessments
- Bring customer feedback to Product and Engineering
What you'll need
- 4+ years in a technical customer-facing role
- 2+ years as dedicated customer point of contact
- Background in AppSec, DevSecOps, package managers, open source, Linux, networking, firewalls, or Docker
- Experience with developer tooling and CI/CD platforms
- Ability to read and reason about JavaScript, Python, and TypeScript
- Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and SaaS integration patterns
- Comfort troubleshooting in production environments
- Willingness to travel as needed
