About the role
A remote customer support role for German- and English-speaking customers of e-commerce brands, handled through chat, email, and other channels. It is full-time and requires at least one year of customer service experience plus your own home-office equipment.
What you'll do
- Support German- and English-speaking customers via chat, email, and other channels
- Help with orders, products, payments, shipping, returns, and account questions
- Resolve complex issues and escalations professionally
- Provide product information and recommendations
- Assist with refunds, exchanges, and returns
- Document customer records and conversations accurately
- Follow client guidelines while maintaining a helpful style
- Meet quality, productivity, response-time, and satisfaction goals
What you'll need
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Professional German and English customer support experience
- E-commerce, BPO, retail, or customer success experience preferred
- Shopify, Gorgias, Zendesk, or Freshdesk experience a plus
- Order, return, refund, payment, or shipping experience an advantage
- Sales or upselling experience a plus
- Previous remote work experience preferred
- Own laptop, i5/Ryzen 5, 8GB RAM, 25 Mbps internet, backup internet, reliable power, quiet workspace
