Customer Support Representative (financial background)

Customer support role at a US-based fintech (cashback and payments app), handling email, chat and ticket inquiries about payments, gift cards, refunds and account balances. It requires prior financial-services support experience and comfort with seven-figure transaction amounts, and the shift follows US business hours.

• Respond to inbound inquiries via email, chat and ticketing platform
• Resolve payment, cashback, gift card, refund and balance issues
• Monitor high-value transactions including seven-figure sums
• Flag and escalate fraud or transaction discrepancies
• Reconcile transaction records and verify payment details
• Document interactions and recurring issues in the support system
• Collaborate with finance, risk and product teams on complex cases
• Contribute fixes and FAQs to the internal knowledge base

• Customer support experience in financial services, fintech, banking or payments
• Experience handling seven-figure money movements accurately
• Understanding of payment processing, chargebacks and reconciliation
• Proficient written and verbal English
• Comfortable with ticketing systems, CRMs and financial tools
• Able to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Availability during US business hours
