Bilingual Prior Authorization & Insurance Verification Specialist

A remote full-time role verifying U.S. dermatology patient insurance benefits and managing prior authorizations, with insurance and overflow patient phone support. It requires fluent English and Spanish plus healthcare insurance verification and prior authorization experience, and is open to candidates in LATAM.

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
• Call insurance companies and document each call
• Manage prior authorizations from submission to resolution
• Track pending items and follow up until resolved
• Escalate unresolved insurance or authorization issues
• Handle insurance-related calls and overflow patient calls
• Provide daily end-of-day reports
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality

• Healthcare administrative experience
• Fluent English and Spanish
• Insurance eligibility and benefits verification experience
• Prior authorization experience
• Insurance phone communication experience
• Documentation and task management experience
• NBI or local police clearance before onboarding
