About the role
This is an inbound call center role answering calls from members, physicians, and pharmacies and resolving pharmacy benefits questions. It requires onsite work in Plano, TX, includes 9 weeks of training, and pays $21 per hour with rotating weekend and holiday shifts.
What you'll do
- Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to members, physicians, and pharmacies
- Follow up, resolve, and document member issues
- Route inquiries needing further investigation
- Educate members about pharmacy benefits
- Deliver one-call resolution
- Maintain PPI and HIPAA compliance
- Work with sensitive information
- Provide patient-centric support
What you'll need
- Must be located local to Plano, TX office and work onsite
- 1+ years call center experience required
- Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, G-Suite
- HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Active listening and conversational speaking skills
- High degree of empathy
- Ability to multitask
