About the role
Senior technical account manager for Mattermost's U.S. federal and enterprise customers, leading secure deployments, technical onboarding, and customer success. Requires Linux, cloud, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps experience, plus eligibility for U.S. export-controlled work and possibly a security clearance.
What you'll do
- Lead technical onboarding and production deployments
- Design secure architectures across cloud, on-premise, hybrid, and air-gapped environments
- Support compliance with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, DoD STIG, and SOC 2
- Guide integration with identity systems, DevOps pipelines, and monitoring tools
- Serve as primary technical point of contact for assigned accounts
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support on complex issues
- Create reusable deployment scripts, playbooks, and documentation
- Present technical concepts to executive and technical stakeholders
What you'll need
- Senior-level Technical Account Management, Sales Engineering, or Customer Success Engineering experience
- Strong Linux, networking, containers, and cloud infrastructure knowledge
- Hands-on scripting or development experience
- Cybersecurity and secure system architecture understanding
- Familiarity with DevSecOps workflows
- Experience managing large enterprise or government customers
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills
- Eligibility for U.S. export-controlled information; may require U.S. security clearance
