About the role
Japanese-speaking freelance customer service agent supporting Netflix Japan by voice, handling account, service, and technical queries. Fully remote with $20 USD per hour during training and the initial live period, and service windows in Japan Standard Time.
What you'll do
- Provide customer support in Japanese by voice
- Help customers with account, service and technical queries
- Follow Netflix support processes and quality standards
- Use online systems and knowledge tools to resolve issues
- Deliver a professional, friendly and efficient customer experience
- Complete required training, assessments and programme updates
- Work independently from home while staying connected with the support team
What you'll need
- Fluent or near-native Japanese language ability
- Strong spoken communication skills
- Comfortable supporting customers by phone
- Confident using online systems and digital tools
- Reliable internet connection and suitable home working environment
- Ability to work independently and follow defined processes
- Customer service experience is useful but not essential
