About the role
Outbound tele sales role calling health plan members to schedule virtual appointments with healthcare providers. It is remote but limited to Texas, with a base salary range of $45,000–$60,900 plus bonus potential.
What you'll do
- Conduct outbound calls to members to promote and schedule virtual appointments
- Explain benefits of virtual appointments
- Use persuasive techniques to encourage scheduling
- Address member questions and concerns about virtual services
- Maintain detailed call records in the CRM system
- Follow up with members, outside entities, and providers
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet scheduling targets
- Follow compliance and regulatory requirements when handling member information
What you'll need
- Comfort working in a telephonic intensive environment
- Ability to connect meaningfully with customers
- Ability to simplify complexity and deliver an optimal customer experience
- Passion for improving consumer experiences
- Self-provided internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions
- Occasional travel to Humana offices may be required
