Automotive Technical Service Representative

Technical service representative handling inbound calls from dealerships about repair claim coverage and adjudicating claims using automotive technical information. Requires prior automotive technician experience and offers remote work at an hourly rate of $19.

• Receive inbound contacts from dealerships regarding claim coverage
• Perform claims adjudication per contact handling processes
• Verify cause of failure is covered under program terms
• Use web-based automotive technical information to verify repair procedures, labor time and part pricing
• Request additional information from repair facilities when needed
• Log customer contacts into the appropriate system
• Meet or exceed program performance metrics
• Escalate customer inquiries and concerns as appropriate

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year recent experience as an automotive technician in powertrain or body/chassis/electrical diagnostic and repair role or equivalent training
• 2-3 years customer service experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Internet, computers, and software such as MS Office, Teams, and Edge
• Effective verbal and written communication
