About the role
A remote customer service role at a New Jersey 3PL, owning one or two client accounts and handling orders, shipment routing and logistics documentation end to end. It requires existing 3PL or freight-forwarding experience plus knowledge of U.S. big-box retailer compliance, with work scheduled on EST business hours and pay in USD.
What you'll do
- Serve as day-to-day contact for one to two client accounts
- Receive, review and process incoming orders accurately
- Coordinate shipment routing based on client and end-customer requirements
- Ensure shipments meet retailer compliance standards (Walmart, Home Depot, Amazon, Costco, etc.)
- Generate bills of lading, shipping labels and compliance documentation
- Liaise with the warehouse manager on priorities and fulfillment status
- Resolve execution issues and keep clients informed
What you'll need
- Experience in 3PL, freight forwarding, warehousing, supply chain or import/export
- Hands-on U.S. retailer routing and compliance experience
- Knowledge of order workflows and shipping documentation
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Strong written English
- Comfortable in a Windows environment with VPN and remote desktop
- Availability to work EST business hours
