About the role
Customer Success Manager at a B2B SaaS startup serving FMCG sales teams, owning onboarding, customer health, and expansion. It is the first Customer Success hire, reporting to the COO, with flexible hours and free choice of work location, requiring native German and travel within Germany.
What you'll do
- Run kickoffs and onboard new customers to go-live
- Set up customer accounts, users, territories, and integrations
- Migrate and import customer data from Excel, ERP, or legacy systems
- Train field sales, key account, and inside sales teams remotely and on-site
- Manage a customer portfolio and monitor account health
- Lead business reviews and prepare rollouts, upsells, and renewals
- Provide first-level support and coordinate technical topics with development
- Build Customer Success processes, playbooks, SLAs, and reporting
What you'll need
- At least 2 years in Customer Success, implementation, or account management in B2B, ideally SaaS
- Experience running onboardings and training sessions independently
- Experience managing a customer portfolio with retention or expansion results
- Strong technical affinity and comfort with SaaS tools such as HubSpot
- Experience with data migration, cleanup, and import
- Comfort using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT and building reports/dashboards
- Native-level German and good English
- Willingness to travel for customer training and meetings in Germany
